This is the third gym my 10 yo has trained at in as many years, & it’s far & away the best. The instructors are absolutely incredible with the kids, very firm but warm & caring. I’m so impressed with their teaching skills. You really get your money’s worth bc it’s 4x per week. It’s such a great family atmosphere. I love that they have an adult class simultaneously, so parents can train too. Also lots of women train here, which I think really speaks to the welcoming atmosphere. So glad we found this gym.
Our 4 year old was being bullied so we signed him up for jiu jitsu under coach Rafa. Since then he has learned to stand up for himself, discipline, dedication, and patience. He’s as confident as ever and has made new friends. We felt like part of the family the moment we walked through the door. We can’t recommend Adonai or the coaches enough!

Professor Rafael de Jesus, besides being a black belt under the legendary Cristiano Marcelo, an Engineer and a great teacher, he is also a world class competitor with over 10 years of experience - competing on every colored belt - that rolls with every student no matter their size or level of experience and knows everyone by their name.
I cannot recommend enough that you try his place before deciding where to train.

Rafael is one of the best professors I have ever had. He strikes a great balance between training hard and having fun! If you are in the area, and are looking to get in better shape, build confidence, or gain the skills to defend yourself, there is no better place than Adonai with Rafael!

My 3 kids and wife are now enrolled and we are excited about it. Adonai is the best choice for true Brazilian jiu-jitsu in the triad!

The best BJJ place around! Great instructors and teammates to be around! Everyone works together to improve, yet push each other! Can't ask for a better place! *Edit* We have had numerous Seminars by big names in the sport! We have moved to a new location that allows us more room and looks fantastic. It has two mat spaces for different skillset classes beginner and advanced. Been training with this team for over a year now, competed 3 times with IBJJf and have had the absolute best time!

Overall, fantastic and welcoming experience for our whole family - myself, my husband and our two young boys. Starting jiu-jitsu as a family has been an incredible experience! I have trained jiu jitsu for years under several different t people. Rafa is by far my favorite teacher. He cares for each of his students and pushes for the best out of you. If he was still in my area there is no other place I would even think about training
